What P2111 usually means
P2111 points to a throttle plate that is not closing the way the control module expects. Carbon buildup around the bore, a sticky plate, internal gear wear, return-force problems, or a feedback signal that falsely reports the plate as open can all create it. In real-world search traffic, this code matters because drivers often describe high idle, weird flare, reduced power, or a scary mismatch between pedal feel and engine behavior. It is one of the cleanest missing nodes next to P2101, P2119, and P2176.
