What P0220 usually means
P0220 is the B-channel electrical fault that pairs naturally with P0120 on the primary side. Modern electronic throttle systems rely on redundant tracks so the ECU can compare one against the other for safety. When the B circuit itself goes electrically missing, shorted, or unstable, the module may set P0220 immediately or escalate into a broader correlation complaint if both channels stop agreeing. That makes this page valuable because it fills a visible hole in the already-strong throttle-control graph.
